Shimadzu Corporation is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of laser modules for photo labs. In the early 21st century, the DPSS laser module design was the only one in widespread use, but it is now obsolete. Moreover, for unknown reasons, the quality of Shimadzu laser modules is getting lower and lower. Therefore, we decided to create our own lasers based on the semiconductor laser diode [SLD] design. At the same time, for customers who prefer to have only the original laser module, we offer upgraded Shimadzu lasers. We upgrade them with our technology from DPSS to final SLD design.
Outwardly, it looks like a Shimadzu module, but inside it has a completely new diode module.

How to obtain an upgraded Shimadzu SLD laser?

First of all, you need to define the type of the laser unit of your mini-laboratory.

We recommend purchasing a universal laser module if you cannot define the type of laser or contact us. 

Before you receive your laser, you need to find a service center or service engineer who knows how to replace the module and fine-tune the laser beam according to our installation and beam fine-tuning guides.

There are many service engineers among our dealers all over the world. They can make a replacement for you at a low cost.
